A fierce battle is taking place in Cyprus over drinking water, because the island suffers from a chronic shortage of water. The water business is worth millions: large companies are buying up key wells and small suppliers of drinking water. Makarios Perikleous owns a spring in the mountains and is one of the few who is offering resistance.
