Travelling on the North Sea Cycle Route – Through Scotland and England on the North Sea Cycle Route.

ZDF/ARTE, 2013, 5×45 min.

In this 5-part documentary, three well-known cyclists – Rudi Altig, Jeannie Longo and Joey Kelly – travel along the British section of the North Sea Cycle Route, guiding viewers through the programme as its hosts. The 2000 or so kilometre (1200 miles) stretch of the route leading through Scotland and England will be covered by bike in five stages.

We will show the British North Sea coast with its impressive countryside and sights from the breathtaking perspective of Cineflex HD aerial footage.
But in the course of our journey we will also encounter a selection of people who typify Scotland and England, introducing them to viewers by means of high-quality images and emotional location sound.
